DOMAINE DU BOULAY
With a great reputation throughout the hexagon, the Domaine du Boulay hunts have been part of the décor since 1968 thanks to a Pierre Roche. At the heart of Sologne, this area is only one of the 20 000 hectares of territory that the Boulay manages. There are hunts here, but also elsewhere as in Brenne, Brittany, Camargue, Basque Country or Gâtinais. In Sologne, the rigorous management of owners allows customers to come hunting with their dogs on 200 hectares in open territory. This hunting in front of the stop dog concerns the pheasant and partridge (grey and red). The waters of the territory allow the duck to be hunted early in the season. On the other hand, large game is also hunting in the Boulay Domain: if the hunter comes into a group or alone to the approach. Please note that large game is the wild boar, deer and sheep in enclosed territory. Archery is also possible. A typical day starts at 8 am with the reception of the hunting officials around breakfast. There is also a possibility for accommodation in traditional Sologne rooms or cottages.
