CASTLE OF THE MOTTE-BÉRAUD
The castle of the Motte-Béraud is a feudal moodle which served as an observation tower for the castle of Sagonne. It was built at the beginning of the Hundred Years War. Modified around 1450 to serve as a residential castle, it remained practically unchanged. Sold as a national asset under the Revolution, it was transformed into a farm in the nineteenth century. Private property today, inscribed at Historic Monuments since April 12, 2012, it is in the surrounding landscape an extraordinary elegance. It's very rare.
