Since 2013, Virlay's water base has been home to a new home. When you arrive from Bourges, have the eye on the right when you arrive in Saint-Amand-Montrond because it is very easy to miss the exit. A large parking lot allows you to park nearby and equip yourself with canoeing. Other activities proposed at the water base: the rental of pedal boats or electric boats (book it in advance) and the internships discovered for sailing (from 10 years) framed by a monitor. A pedestrian path allows you to walk around the lake (about 5 km). On the course, a small chalet offers crepes, fresh drinks and ice cream.
