The Aurore Room opened its doors at the end of June 2008, an extension of the Cité de l'Or. With modern design, this equipment provides seating capacity of 500 seats. It proposes a multiservice room of 657 m 2. It has a stage of 65 m 2, a central area of 390 m 2 equipped with a bar, adjustable meeting rooms with a total area of 140 m 2, a kitchen of 100 m 2, sanitary facilities, storage facilities and technical premises. The roof is covered with panels in plant structure and solar panels. This Aurore room allows you to host large events that require important meeting and dining spaces. The Aurore Room offers a complementary reception capacity to the current holiday room, the Place de la République, which will remain the city centre. The rehabilitation of the latter will be integrated into the programme of the overall redevelopment of the place of the Republic.
