The primary mission of the Cher Chamber of Agriculture is to support and represent the agricultural community. Based on the same model as the Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Chambers of Trade and Crafts, this organization offers its public a range of resources, training and services to help them develop their projects and businesses. The Chamber's advisors are active in a number of fields and offer over 80 services. It brings together the elected representatives of farmers, salaried employees, land and forest owners, cooperatives and mutual agricultural organizations. Its aim is to represent the interests of agriculture and the rural world in dealings with public authorities.
