L’AUBERGE DE SAINT-THIBAULT
A stone's throw from Loire docks, Saint-Thibault Hostel is a step not to miss in Sancerrois. The dishes are worthy of excellent traditional French cuisine: snuffed liver with Sancerre ham, mango shrimp tartare and lawyers, sandre back with caramelized calamel head served with a Sancerre sauce and home fries (the specialty of the house), or among the delicacies the caramelized apple millew and a cream burned to the bourbon vanilla on its Breton sand in the flower of salt. David Reigner, the chef, who obtained the title of master restaurateur, favors local products he cooked per minute. Even his bread is made home. Its engine: creativity. Trust him, everything is mastered. The plates are beautifully presented, we almost have trouble eating so much! The service is impeccable, Isabelle, the wife of the chef is in the care of the guests. You can eat on the terrace in the sunny days. Some recently renovated single rooms are offered. For parking, do not hesitate to park on the docks of Loire. A renowned establishment in the region.
