SAN MARTIN CHURCH
Admire Saint-Martin church, a Romanesque gem from the XIᵉ century, blending red sandstone, gilded altarpiece and rich historical heritage!
Saint-Martin church, dating from the XIᵉ and XIIᵉ centuries, is a fine example of Romanesque architecture. Built from local red sandstone, it features a rustic facade and white stone portal adorned with five superimposed Romanesque arcades. The single nave, vaulted in wood, leads to a choir rebuilt in the XIXᵉ century, housing a XVIIᵉ century gilded wooden altarpiece from Loroy Abbey. Its old and restored elements bear witness to a rich architectural and religious heritage. It is a precious witness to local and spiritual history.
