Built between the 12th and 15th centuries, the church has undergone a number of modifications over the centuries. The 13th-century bell tower-porch houses five bells and a large organ. The church features a 12th-century sculpted font, chapels dedicated to saints such as St. John the Baptist, and one dedicated to St. Perpetua, Vierzon's patron saint. Other highlights include a 15th-century Crucifixion stained-glass window, a painting of St. John the Baptist by Jean Boucher (1604), a pulpit and an 18th-century pew.
