VIERZON MUSEUM
Museum of Vierzon, testifying to the industrial history of the city, with a collection of agricultural machinery and railroads.
The Vierzon Museum is located in the former French company, which manufactured agricultural equipment, very close to the station, in the city center. It bears witness to the industrial history of the city. There is, of course, a beautiful collection of agricultural machinism, but also a lot of pieces that testify to the old industries of Vierzon: the work of glass, that of porcelain (about ten factories existed in the city at the beginning of the twentieth century), clothing. The museum also has a rich collection around the railways (models, posters, railway tools…). This collection was incorporated in large part by the gift of Raymond Laumônier, former depository in Vierzon.
