FRENCH GARDENS
Peaceful square next to the station, named after Célestin Gérard, founder of the Société française.
This square was created as a tribute to Célestin Gérard, the adopted Vierzonnais who founded the Société Française. A bronze bust stands in the middle of the park in his honor. Sitting on one of the benches, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the former Société Française buildings. These walls once housed the manufacture of agricultural machinery and patented inventions. Today, a cinema has taken up residence here, breathing new life into a place steeped in history and industrial innovation. A great place to rest and breathe.
