Every year, at the beginning of March, the Dordogne canine association, faithfully chaired by Jean-Louis Brassat-Lapeyrière, organises an international exhibition at the Périgord Exhibition Centre (Marsac). This event brings together hundreds of dogs of dozens of different breeds, and of course their happy owners. Amateurs flock to admire the presentations in the rings: a certificate of aptitude for compliance with the (national) standard and a certificate of aptitude for the international beauty championship are awarded. Children particularly like the animations that feature all these teddy bears, but one must remain reasonable when selling LOF puppies: an animal is not a toy!
