In addition to the rock concerts and other entertainment that get the little resort into a frenzy, numerous rides are organized in the region by local clubs: a rich program for a festival that is no less rich. Over 10,000 motorcycles and 30,000 people are expected to descend on Morzine Avoriaz in July for this year's "pure rock" festival. It promises to be another great time!

To feed it and to honour its famous guides, the Company of the guides created the Festival of the guides: all the valley of Chamonix Mont-Blanc pays a tribute to them during 4 days of festivals and songs. On August 15th, the guides parade in the costume worn by Jacques Balmat in 1786 during the first ascent of Mont Blanc.
