A jewel of the Burgundian Bresse, this elegant, red brick castle consists of three bodies of U-shaped buildings, with four round towers. It was in 1956 that the Conseil général de la Saône-et-Loire acquired this strong house in the 1945 th century, a castle whose interiors have been registered in the Historical Monuments Inventory since 1957 and whose exterior will be classified in. The first wave of 1959 restoration will install a retirement home in the communes. Renovations from the outside will last until 1971, but the interior is still dilapidated. It was only in 1981, with the installation of the Ecomuseum Burgundian ecomuseum that the castle really will know a second youth. In spring 1987, half of the residence is open to the public: The th and th centuries lounges are restored to the same, the old ballroom and the attic are permanent exhibitions, the staircase of the staircase is airbrushed on the sheet. In 1993, the second part of the central body was restored (tea salon, exhibition rooms and concert hall) and the bridge giving access to the court of honour. The result is most successful. The beautiful park of 32 hectares offers beautiful walks.
