From the Punic city to the Roman city

For this day, wake up at dawn and head for Cap Bon and the superb Punic city planted on the seashore, Kerkouane. We then take the road for the north-west of the country and the archeological site of Dougga (1h30 from Tunis) or Bulla Regia (1 hour further). A captivating day through the ages.

The immense site of ancient Mactaris

Departure for Makthar to admire its archaeological site. A remnant of ancient Mactaris, the site is one of the most extensive in the country. Then on to , known in ancient times as Sufetula, where numerous remains can be seen.

Visit Kairouan, home to several outstanding religious monuments: the Great Mosque, the Aghlabid Basins and the Barber's Mausoleum. Kerouan is also renowned for its thick woollen carpets, with diamond patterns characteristic of local craftsmanship.

Departure for El Djem, visit to theRoman amphitheatre, the3rd largest in the Empire after Rome and Capua. On to Monastir, visit of the medina, Ribat, Museum of Islamic Arts, Habib Bourguiba mausoleum. Continuation to Sousse, visit of the Ribat and its medina.
