How to get there
Arriving in Tacoma
Arriving at Seattle's airport. Head to Tacoma for the night.
Visit to Tacoma
Visit Old Town, Museum of Glass, History Museum, Tacoma Art Museum and the attractions of Point Defiance Park (the zoo, the aquarium and Fort Nisqually). Stroll through the pleasant Ruston Way to enjoy the view of Commencement Bay and the Olympic Mountains.
Lake Quinault and discovery of the rain forest
Join Lake Quinault for a first incursion into the Olympic Peninsula. Hike in the rain forest and around the lake. Overnight in Lake Quinault.

Lake Crescent
Visit Marymere Falls, stroll along the shores of the lake, rent a canoe or a pedal boat to better appreciate the magnificent landscape. Overnight at Lake Crescent Lodge.
Port Angeles

Take a kayaking trip in Freshwater Bay, wander around Elwha River, stop at Madison Falls, visit Port Angeles, go up to Hurricane Ridge for a panoramic view of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Vancouver Island and Mount Baker on one side and the Olympic Mountains on the other.

Port Townsend

Passing through San Juan Island

It takes about half a day to pass through San Juan Island (about 5 hours). You have to pass through Seattle and then go up to Anacortes to take the ferry. Arriving in Friday Harbor in the afternoon.
Discovering San Juan Island

San Juan Island offers a great number of activities to have a good time. Whale and killer whale watching is the most popular. We board a small boat and we go out to Puget Sound looking for large mammals. Other activity is cycling, ideal for travelling across the island. And then all the water sports, windsurfing, diving etc... A seaside-resort air floats on San Juan Island.
Stopover in Orcas Island

Travel by ferry from San Juan to Orcas in the morning. The island is more authentic than San Juan Island and those looking for peace and quiet will be happy. Don't miss its beautiful viewpoints and its art galleries. Overnight in Orcas.
