How to get there - Portoferraio
Arrival and night in Portoferraio

Generally, ferries are landing in Portoferraio in the afternoon. After the installation in your accommodation, you can start the stay with a sun bath on the beach Le Ghiaie, visit the official residence of Napoleon, and the evening enjoy a walk in the heart of the old town.

Marciana Marina
Steps: Scaglieri
In the morning you can reach the famous white beaches of Padulella, Capo Bianco and, less accessible but splendid, Sansone. Or enjoy the beach of the Viste, just below the Palazzina dei Mulini, where there is a famous and panoramic restaurant: Le Viste. After lunch, departure from Portoferraio towards Marciana Marina. On the way, the beach of La Biodola is worth a visit, with its fine sand and its promenade to the beaches of Forno and Scaglieri. At the end of the afternoon, we arrive in the romantic village of Marciana Marina. The small beach of Fenicia is recommended for a swim before dinner and its beautiful sunsets. In the evening, enjoy a trip to Marciana: visit the Pisan fortress and for the more adventurous, take the cable car to the top of Monte Capanne.

West Coast
Steps: San Piero In Campo
Visit the west coast of the island, from Marciana Marina to Marina di Campo. Along the way, you will find the Napoleon spring with its ever-fresh water, the funicular to the top of Mount Capanne and the beaches of Sant'Andrea and Cotoncello, famous for their smooth granite cliffs plunging into the sea. A little further on you will find Chiessi and Pomonte, two small villages where time seems to have stopped, but also Fetovaia, Seccheto and Cavoli, the most famous sandy beaches of the island. From here, there are countless possibilities for trekking and boat excursions. The evening can be spent in Marina di Campo, or for more authenticity, in Sant'Ilario and San Piero, small typical villages.

Capoliveri
Steps: Lacona
On the road from Marina di Campo to Capoliveri, don't miss the large beach of Lacona, with its beautiful pine forest and sand dunes, as well as the various coves accessible on foot and the beach of Norsi. The municipality of Capoliveri also offers several beaches: del Lido, wide and busy; Felciaio, hidden but very special; Barabarca and Zuccale; Madonna delle Grazie; Peducelli; Morcone; Pareti; Innamorata, with many coves that are difficult to find but very pleasant. In the evening, visit the historical center of Capoliveri. It is recommended to choose an accommodation on the south coast to enjoy the view of the islands and the sunset.

Monte Calamita and Porto Azzurro
