Stay : MURCHISON FALLS ADVENTURE

Uganda's largest park is the main destination for wildlife and big game viewing in Uganda. It is located along the Nile and covers 3,480 square kilometers of diverse habitats: forests, grasslands, riparian forests, Borassus palms, acacia savannah, water. The park protects a large concentration of wildlife, including 87 mammals and over 451 bird species. The park takes its name from the spectacular Murchison Falls on the Nile. These falls, also known as the most important object on the entire course of the river, are the centerpiece of the park, where they offer a spectacular view of the Nile threading its way through a tiny chasm some 7 meters wide between the rocks and exploding into the basin 42 meters below. In the background, before the depression, the river is calm and mirror-smooth. But a few metres further on, the water begins to turbulate and becomes the spectacular Murchison Falls.
