Stay : 4 Day Gorilla Safari in Rwanda

On arrival at Kigali International Airport, you'll be greeted cheerfully and kindly by your guide, who will transfer you to your reserved accommodation for dinner and overnight stay. You will be given a detailed briefing on your tour itinerary by our staff.

After a hearty breakfast, you'll leave the hotel and begin your tour of the city of Kigali. Enjoy the magnificent view of the emerging hills and head towards the kigali Genocide Memorial. Here, over 256,000 victims of the 1994 Rwandan genocide were laid to rest as a mark of respect for their bodies. You'll then head for Volcanoes National Park, home to the mountain gorillas, where you'll stop off for a photo opportunity and a magnificent view of the rolling landscape. Relax at your lodge, enjoy the property's amenities and prepare for your gorilla trekking activity the following day. Spend the evening at the lodge.

On this special day, you'll have the rare opportunity to observe the famous mountain gorillas of Rwanda. Following the gorillas through the forested slopes of Virunga is a magical experience. You'll spend an hour with these primates, taking photos and watching the juveniles at play. The whole trekking experience can last from 2 to 6 hours, depending on the gorillas' movements. You'll be back at the lodge for lunch.

In the afternoon, relax at the lodge or we'll take you to the Gorilla Guardians Village to enjoy and discover the unique culture of the Rwandans. Later, return to your lodge for dinner and your overnight stay. Enjoy the property's amenities and free time.

After breakfast, you'll be picked up by our safari driver-guide, who will take you to the park headquarters for a briefing. You'll then start your day with a golden monkey trek, in search of these primates in the jungle. Later, you'll return to the lodge for lunch and a transfer to Kigali. Time permitting, you can do some shopping in the local markets before your transfer to the airport to take you home.
