The Turkish airline offers flights from several French cities, including Paris, Bordeaux, Marseille, Lyon, Toulouse, Nice and Strasbourg, to Jakarta, with a stopover in Istanbul. The flight from France to Istanbul is estimated to take around 3 hours, while the journey from Istanbul to Jakarta should take around 12 hours. Seats are not renowned for their comfort, and service levels leave much to be desired. However, Istanbul airport offers some very good restaurants and interesting stores.
