The company was founded on October 3, 1927 and is Iceland's oldest oil company.the company has adapted to the development of the Icelandic economy since its inception and is better known today as Olís, but the company's activities are divided into three main divisions: the sales division, the logistics division and the finance division. The company operates a number of service stations under the Olís brand name, in addition to self-service stations under the ÓB brand - cheap fuel
