HOLY CROSS
The road of St Croix leads to the eponymous semaphore by car, where the view is fantastic on the coves on one side and Ciotat on the other. It overlooks the sand of the fallen stones which is not within walking distance. You can go to a bicycle or walk. Don't miss to see the remnants of the old St. Croix chapel, which had been the first watch of this strategic point before the semaphore. A hermit lived there and lazlo as guetteur. We still see the logette where he lived and the arcades on the northern facade. A hike taking a loop from Ciotat passes through the coastal trail on the heights to this chapel and descends through the St. Croix road.
