When to go en Bourgogne ?
Burgundy can be visited all year round, but more pleasantly in the summer. Depending on your affinities, you will prefer the autumn of the harvest, the summer of the festivals, the spring to hike... From May to September, enjoy a programme of medieval festivals from town to town, jazz, blues or Cajun music festivals, not to mention Chalon dans la rue (July) and the Rencontres musicales dans les églises de Vézelay (August). Other events that may attract you include the Dijon International and Gastronomic Fair in November with 600 exhibitors, the Hospices de Beaune wine auction (late November), the Saulieu Christmas tree festival (early December), capital of the Christmas tree where Christmas magic works. But it is in June, the month of the Climates of Burgundy, that the region has the highest number of tourists.
