LA TABLE DE JEAN
A good address near Terrasson and Montignac. A sincere, quality restaurant with lots of local produce.
In a bistro setting with red walls and black-and-white photos, La Table de Jean was immediately embraced by the locals. Patrick Hamelin has been at the helm of this inn for 14 years. The cuisine is tasty and inventive, inspired by traditional dishes reminiscent of childhood (duck foie gras terrine, beef cheek, pistachio crème brûlée...). The chef knows how to surprise as well as comfort us with fresh produce grown or raised within a 50 km radius. In fine weather, lunch is served on the terrace overlooking a pretty garden.
