A remarkable mill, the Périgord Paper Ecomuseum, with an on-site store.
Moulin de la Rouzique is Périgord's paper eco-museum, where paper has been handmade from hemp, linen and cotton rags since the 15th century. This is one of the last remaining paper mills. Its wheel, weighing 3 tonnes and measuring 6 metres in diameter, bears witness to the power of this historic mill. On-site, a store offers a wide range of handmade papers: watercolor papers, calligraphy papers, cards, notebooks and notepads. Workshops are organized to learn how to make your own sheet of rag paper.
