LE PONT DE LA CROIX BANCAUD
Bridge characterized by its two front and back spouts, established on an ancient ford at Jumilhac-le-Grand.
The Pont de la Croix Bancaud is built on an ancient ford. It is characterized by its two front and back spouts. The current bridge dates back to the 17th century. Upstream is the electric factory, former mill of La Salle whose miller's house is still in place. A fish ladder has been put in place to allow the passage of fish from the reservoir to the river. From this site you can have a beautiful view of the castle. Nearby there is a climbing rock.
