MONASTÈRE BOUDDHISTE KANSHOJI

Located in the Périgord-Limousin region, Kanshoji is a Buddhist monastery in the Soto Zen tradition. Its director, Taiun Jean-Pierre Faure, was a disciple of Master Taisen Deshimaru, and is certified by Minamizawa Roshi, abbot of Eiheiji, a temple founded by Dogen. It's possible to come for a while to discover Buddha's teachings, follow the monks' practice or make a retreat. The center also offers workshops in calligraphy, Ikebana, Japanese language courses...
