L'AUBERGE DES PLATANES
The Auberge des Platanes is a beautiful place on the edge of the Dordogne in front of the Port des gabarres. In this hotel-restaurant , rooms have views on the river or on the Parc. The restaurant area offers a brasserie menu (omelet, salad, prime rib and fish) or a more elaborate menu with traditional dishes: duck foie gras, duck confit, duck breast with Sarlat-style potatoes, Perigord burger and all homemade ice creams with original perfumes such as Suede creme brulee ice cream In the summer, the two terraces one under plane trees and the other overlooking the Parc with a view of the Dordogne are particularly nice to eat or just to take a ice cream or a drink. The restaurant on the first floor offers a stunning view.

Restauration prise en terrasse avec un temps agréable. Les plats de la carte brasserie , comme la salade périgourdine, sont copieux et de très bonne qualité. Ils sont bien présentés . La glace caramel et cerneaux de noix est tout simplement délicieuse.
