In 1986, the first vintages were produced from oak barrels. The goal of producing a high-quality wine was achieved! Made from Merlot grapes blended with the region's clay and limestone soils, it has won over restaurateurs and tourists alike. This quality is regularly rewarded with medals at wine fairs and exhibitions. Domaine de la Vitrolle produces IGP Périgord vins de pays, as well as apple juice, sparkling apple wine, cider and sparkling wine. It also sells apples and mirabelles picked on site.
