FERME DU BRUSQUAND
This is about generations: Charlotte and Rémi belong to the fourth. Like their parents and grandparents, they welcome visitors to their goose and duck farm in the middle of nature. From 5 p. m., the farm visit is accompanied by a feeding demonstration. Homemade products are sold in the shop: whole fat liver, pies, grills, candies, fillets gizzards… and tastings are free. After this appetiser, you can have a sit at the hostel and taste the dishes of the Périgord in a family atmosphere and a beautiful flowered outdoor setting: a country dish including duck breast stuffed with fat liver, dried breast and grilled duck, roasted duck breast, honey sauce and 4 spices, Sarlat potatoes. For children, the menu is rather gastronomic. The dish includes grills, tomato and dried breast duck, a grilled breast duck with ceps sauce, Sarlat potatoes and ice cream… There are also two chalets and a Palombière wooden stilt cottage . These comfortable cottages are beautifully decorated and fully equipped with swimming pool and boiling bath. The farm also welcomes also the campers.
