ANDRÉ VOULGRE MUSEUM
Museum in Mussidan presenting the evolution of the great Isle Valley through the art of living and Périgord know-how.
The museum is the result of a bequest made by Doctor André Voulgre to his home town of Mussidan. Set in a superb park, the building is not lacking in charm, for it is indeed in a 19th-century chartreuse that you will discover the evolution of the great Isle Valley through the art of living and the know-how of Périgord: gastronomy, decorative arts, crafts and industry, agriculture... All year round, the museum is open and offers conferences ("Legends and Mysteries", for example), exhibitions, children's workshops, evening events and more.
