Julien passed through the Old Logis de Tremolat before settling nearby in the former presbytery of the abbey church, of which he is the key, in the shade of the imposing fortified church of Paunat. The exposed stone building offers an open terrace in the gardens, a warm and attentive welcome, tempting gourmet proposals: cep tartlet with garlic cream, homemade terrines, fried veal sweetbreads with Port... A host of specialities, always renewed, according to desires and seasons. The preparation of the dishes is superb. It's an excellent address.

Really delicious food in a perfect setting tucked under the trees. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

Alors, j'ai beaucoup aimé le cadre qui est idyllique néanmoins, la quantité et la présentation est très moyenne. Les serveurs sont à votre écoute mais la serveuse pas très souriante. Du coup, rapport qualité prix j'ai été très déçu, en sortant du restaurant j'avais encore faim. Désolée ????

A very high quality meal in lovely outdoor surroundings next to the abbey. Excellent local wine knowledge.
Mohito dessert was stunning. Lamb with apricot sauce very good.
