HOCH'PAIN
Mohamed Hamdani noticed that there was no bakery-pastry shop in the area, which is what prompted him to settle down and open a bakery/tea shop. Trained as a pastry chef, he worked in a number of establishments in the Gironde and Périgueux, including Lehoux. All the pastries are made on the spot with very personal and original recipes such as an orange crown of kings. The bread arrives from the Fournil de la Vallée in Léguillac-de-l'Auche where it is made the old-fashioned way. A few tables allow you to sit down for lunch to eat a pizza or a sandwich but also to have some pastries at tea, hot chocolate or coffee time.
