A discovery of the vernacular heritage of Saint-Aulaye, through the Romanesque churches with domes, and the tourist route.
The Tourist Office of Saint-Aulaye provides information on the municipality and has an office in La Roche-Chalais (✆ 05 53 90 18 95), from April to September. The Pays de Saint-Aulaye is distinguished by its green landscapes and its rivers open to fishing and outdoor activities. The vernacular heritage is added to the Romanesque churches with domes which are found in high density in Ribéracois. A tourist route linking some forty churches has been created to appreciate this architectural specificity.
