LA FERME DU CHESNY
The farm of Chesny is a small family exploitation held by Christophe Pouyau. He raises ducks with his wife since 1988. The ducks arrive on the farm at the age of one day, are raised in the open air for fourteen to sixteen weeks, before being force-fed in the morning and evening with whole grain corn, for fifteen days. The products are then processed according to traditional Perigord recipes. You can visit the farm and discover the products by coming on the spot. To taste for example: cooked and semi-cooked foie gras, blocks of foie gras, pâtés, salted duck breasts, stuffed necks, medallions, rillettes, confits, cooked dishes and the Chesny's speciality, the dried duck breast stuffed with foie gras!
