CHÂTEAU LA ROQUE
The oldest biodynamic wine estate in the Bergerac region, handed down from generation to generation in an organic approach.
As one of the oldest wine estates in the Bergerac region, the vineyard of Château Laroque has been passed down through five generations, and not the least. Indeed, the grandfather of the current owner, Olivier de La Bardonnie, was one of the first resistance fighters in the Dordogne during the war: the château was even the place from which the first clandestine radio transmission to Free France was made in 1941! As for the wine, the viticulture is biodynamic and the wines are 100% organic, which contributes to the reputation of the vintages (reds, whites, or rosés!).
