GROTTE DU SORCIER
Cave discovered in 1951, known for its engraving called Sorcier de Saint-Cirq, animal engravings and the small museum to see
This cave discovered in 1951, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, is located between Les Eyzies and Le Bugue. It is known for a famous engraving called Le Sorcier de Saint-Cirq, one of the rare prehistoric anthropomorphic figures. It must be added animal prints, mainly horses but also buffalo or ibex, attributed to the early and mid-Magdalenian. In the Middle Ages, people dug the cliff and established their home there. You can visit some of these troglodytic landscapes. A small museum completes the visit. Possible access to the cluzeaux of the cliff and to the hamlet.

La visite est un peu cher pour une si petite grotte même si le musée situé à côté de la grotte est à visiter.
