HERITAGE MUSEUM IN MINIATURE
In the dependencies of a former presbytery, this museum of tool and life in the village has integrated the old museum museum. It is a reflection of the ancient life in the villages of Périgord: an antique school, craftsmen's workshops, a grocery store, a collection of objects illustrating our past campaigns from 1850 to 1950 and fifteen reproductions of castles, cathedrals and the Phare lighthouse at 1-hundredth, made by Jean Nicolas. The museum has just been enriched by a very beautiful collection of butterflies in deposit after the death of Jean Soleillant a resident of the commune that had exercised in Morocco and Madagascar. For any visit outside the summer months, contact Françoise Pichot, Manager of the museum, ✆ 05 53 91 37 06 or town hall at ✆ 05 53 91 22 87. The entrance ticket is valid for both museums in Saint-Privat and the Cognac Museum in Saint-Aulaye.
