Farmhouse with terrace in the Perigord countryside offering many home-made specialties on the menu.
We are a few minutes from the motorway exit (Manoire area) and already in the heart of the Périgord countryside. From the belvedere where this farm is located, you can even see the cathedral of Périgueux: sublime! To be enjoyed from the terrace at the same time as the daily menu. The Lassagne family raises pigs, fattened ducks and poultry, it has stopped the activity of bed and breakfast, but continues to treat in its farm inn in individual table, in high season. Groups are also welcome all year round, on reservation, up to 90. Franck and his wife, very kind, have many homemade specialities on the menu: turnip with garlic, foie gras, duck or pork confit, stuffed piglets, poultry, cassoulet, walnut tarts. If you don't come to eat on the spot, you can buy products after a visit to this bucolic landscape: foie gras, stuffed neck, pâté, duck confit with bergerac, rillettes, cassoulet, dry ham and sausages, with beautiful gift box ideas. Fresh or canned, the processing part is in full development, all in farm quality: the animals are fed independently on the farm.
