Therefore we provided inhabitant with Vinales, Trinidad or Santiago de Cuba. It was a very pleasant experience as families were almost always welcoming. However, do not expect supreme comfort, it is a little random for this reason. That is very correct and clean in all cases families being chosen beforehand by the association. If the night is not very expensive, it is however on meals offered beautifully by the inhabitants that you will pay full pot, and you are supposed food at home, they will prepare each time a meal if you do not stop them before (restaurants are often cheaper and there you have the choice of food, but you have to admit that you are there to spend money as much as that have direct repercussions on the population).
You will meet surely Roberto, belonging to the association in Cuba. High character colours, and then very talkative about the history of the country, it may to share his passion for Cuba... unless you take down front! Les Cubains do not hesitate to share their good plans tourists, we found ourselves to eat at people obscure renown while he had us " invité" the restaurant (and of course it is we who paid... very expensive)
To make this experience, it is before food cuban and meet the local population, which is very nice. But do not expect to weave real bonds of friendship with the inhabitants, most of them simply looking to earn the most money to try to cure their poverty.
