Visiting Chateau Feely provides a unique experience to learn about organic and biodynamic wines. If you are looking for a tour that will expand your knowledge, challenge the conventional thinking you have been taught about wine making and wine growing and help you improve your ability to select high quality wine, you will not be disappointed.

Caro has such enthusiasm and enjoyment in what she does which is infectious to all who visit. She shares her vast knowledge freely and provides a creates a very relaxed atmosphere with guests.

My family and I stayed for a week this summer and it was wonderful. This was my 3rd time visiting and was once again a great experience. The accommodations are very comfortable, the setting is beautiful, and Caro always has a good plan to meet her clients’ needs.

Had a wonderful intimate wine tour with Caro! She has a natural passion for her work and it was really lovely to gain an insight into bio diversity and organic farming. We look forward to enjoying our rosé back in London!

Excellent Week in Southwest France visiting vineyards, wineries, tasting rooms and restaurants. I highly recommend the full week experience with French Wine Adventures. Caro is a wealth of knowledge and outstanding host.

A startling demonstration on how important it is to understand and embrace the concept for farming with natural means. In this case a winery in perfect balance within its surrounding Terroir, the result is wines that are pure and delicious! A great half day tour and wine tasting and a clear message to take home (as well as superb wines)!

Chateau Feely is a wonderful biodynamic vineyard in the heart of the Dordogne. This is a must-visit if you are in the region! I highly recommend all the activities they offer, including the tour and wine pairing that's led by the awesome owner Caro Feely. This will be a super memorable part of your holiday and the wine is first rate!

Visited for a winery tour and tasting/pairing package from Bordeaux. Caro is a wonderful host, picked us up from a nearby station, and made us feel very welcome. We didn’t stay in the gite so cannot comment. Highly recommended.

We had a delightful and very informative wine tour with the owner followed by a wine tasting! We were especially impressed with the organic and eco friendly approach they take to growing their vines. We enjoyed their white and red wines alike and highly recommend their winery and accommodations.

We spent the most fabulous week relaxing at the wine cottage. Caro is the perfect host; professional, helpful, extremely knowledgable, informative and engaging. For me the holiday highlights were the walking wine tour with Caro ending with lunch at Le Relais de Monastier, the night time party in Sausaignac village square, and the wine and food pairing at Chateau Feely. It was a very hot week so we enjoyed a daily cool down in the beautiful pool with our holiday neighbours from Canada. We hired electric bikes which were fabulous for getting around, even a ride to Monbazillac over 10 miles away was easy. This was our second stay at Chateau Feely and will definitely return, thank you Caro for letting us stay at your beautiful chateau.

We thoroughly enjoyed a 5 night stay in the wine lodge with friends in early autumn 2022. The Lodge enjoys comfort, simple style and privacy with gorgeous views across the vineyard.
We had the benefit of Caro’s deep knowledge during two days of wine walking with her. Caro is utterly charming and very good company. It was a unique and hugely enjoyable way to look listen and learn about organic grapes and their biodynamic journey to becoming wine. Lots of interesting conversations too .
Wine tasting was of course included !

Chateau Feely is a wonderful place! Caro and Sean are incredibly welcoming people and very knowledgeable in their field (pun intended!) Their ethos is both admirable and inspiring. The wine is delicious! We particularly enjoyed the "La Source" red. This vibrant wine epitomizes the region as a whole -- its fruity aroma is mesmerizing and its low intervention antithetical to the synthetic modern world. All the best to you, Caro and Sean. We hope to be back!

I had the most memorable trip to Chateau Feely. Caro and Sean have made something super special here in this bio organic vineyard. Their knowledge, welcoming presence and devine wine kept me wanting more. I also had a peep at their ecological accomodation and I will be back to stay! They also run tonnes of in person and online tours and courses. Along with Caros books and yoga classes, this place has it all. Also, don’t leave without trying their Generosite white wine, a semillion and Sauvignon Blanc blend, delish, bury me with it! Highly recommend to go visit them!

Caro is great. Did the wine tour. Learned a lot and it was very interesting. Also got her book "Grape Expectations". A great read about all the many crazy challenges they had buying the vineyard and learning to run it.

For wine tasting, Caro has such a great nose and is an amazing guide through the flavours. Delicious Semillon in particular. I learned something new about the different influence of the limestone and flint.

Caro also teaches yoga in a shady part of the vineyard - we booked a class and it was intimate and in a refreshing location listening to the birdsong.

We loved our tour and tasting thanks to Caro’s warmth and deep knowledge of the area and organic and biodynamic winemaking, and the Feelys’ beautiful wines. We also thoroughly enjoyed our yoga session under the trees at the foot of the vineyard. The lovely location and Caro’s calm manner made it the perfect way to start our day!
