Verrerie d'Art de Terrasson is located in the ancient town of Terrasson-Lavilledieu in the Dordogne, close to Lascaux and the many remarkable sites of the Périgord. Once known for its industrial glassworks, Terrasson is now home to this glassblower's workshop. In 2020, the glassworks moved to a new building on rue de la Traverse, a stone's throw from the Jardins de l'Imaginaire and Saint Sour church. The boutique offers a view of the workshop, where visitors can watch traditional objects being made, as well as unique pieces and modern creations. La Verrerie de Terrasson also offers customized orders and introductory courses for children aged 7 and over. Glassblower Thibault Lafleuriel creates pieces inspired by dreams and childhood, using the freedom of form offered by this magical material.
