Bistro in Tremolat preparing a simple and uncomplicated cuisine, a generous foie gras with attractive prices.

Close to the main house (the Vieux Logis), on a pretty square, the Bistrot de la Place welcomes you in a very soft setting and a typical bistro atmosphere, to make you discover a simple and relaxed cuisine. The menu really keeps all its promises: the foie gras served generously is accompanied by a fruity mousseline; the traditional duck confit is accompanied by potatoes from Sarlat... The desserts are classic and sublimated by the products of the region (strawberry pavlova and lemon ice cream, for example).

Une bonne adresse dans un joli village. Service sympathique et rapide. A la carte il y en a pour tous les goûts. Le foie gras est très bon comme le poisson. Le canard était juste un peu trop cuit mais rien de grave. Le dessert aux figues et le moelleux au chocolat sont excellents. A recommander.

Très bonne cuisine. Service rapide et efficace. Remarque valable ici et un peu partout... Mais où sont les légumes ? Les féculents et la viande sont bien présents, mais pas l'ombre d'un légume à l'horizon

Le cadre est sympa, lieu calme pour manger et passer un moment agréable. Les serveurs sont pros et sympathiques. Les plats sont très bien cuisinés. Je ne mets pas pas 5 étoiles car je trouve que pour un bon mangeur les quantités servies sont limites...
