DANOS FRÈRES
Since 1969, the Danos family has been producing artisanal preserves in a privileged site: the Cingle de Trémolat, where the film Le Boucher, starring Jean Yanne, was shot. Since the house has grown, a new laboratory was opened in 1989, the know-how remains the same and the products are IGP certified. The ducks are raised, force-fed with corn, slaughtered, cut up and cooked in the Périgord. Danos preserves are often awarded prizes in foie gras competitions. For example, they won the bronze medal at the Paris agricultural competition in 2019 for whole duck foie gras. They have signed, with the Chamber of Trades, the quality charter "artisans conserviers de Dordogne". The products can be ordered online on the website.
