LE VEILLEUR D’URVAL
This charming village on the edge of the Bessède, between Le Buisson and Belvès, with its fortified church, its common oven and its stream, exudes a Rimbaldian charm: we knew Le Dormeur du Val, here is Le Veilleur d'Urval, much more festive! It is a great idea that Adrien de Buzelet, who worked in the agri-food industry in England... to get back to the love of real products, in Paris and now in the kitchen of his own business, here. This restaurant-bar with its very low prices relies on the proximity and freshness of the products, with a pronounced organic option. The slate offers three choices at each stage, starter, main course and dessert, with for example a tuna tataki, wasabi cream and sesame oil, a small spelt risotto with oyster mushrooms, green asparagus, parmesan chips, and a flowing heart of Guayaquil chocolate. On the bar side, the spirit of meeting prevails, on Thursday evenings at 5pm: exhibitions, match evenings, bilingual workshops, quizzes, chess games, citizen debates, reading, poetry, bartering, exchange of services... the idea is to create links over a glass: a fine selection of beers and wines from the surroundings
