Jean-Claude is a very likeable character at the helm of this guinguette. The name says it all: it's fresh, it's well-made, the food is simple and rustic, and the prices are easy on the wallet (which doesn't spoil anything). Echt een gezellig lokaal restaurant langs de weg. Heerlijk gegeten. Prijs kwaliteit uitstekend. Kaas nog zelf afsnijden en de crème brûlée was geweldig.

You only get the meal of the day, but the food was great. The staff were very friendly and the place is dog friendly. Lovely place for lunch and a good price.

Amazing and very french. Just plat du jour with no choice. But food great and some live jazz in the garden. Very much a locals french vibe, but made us very welcome with our 10 and 13 year olds.
We didn't make a reservation which is frowned on - do book if you can!
