CHÂTAIGNES GOURMANDES
Chestnuts are Denis Bourgin's speciality. He has been an organic producer for 15 years and offers them vacuum peeled, in purées, chestnut cream, marrons glacés, chestnut-apple jam, chestnut-pear jam. His peeling method is special: the fruit never touches the water to keep all its aromas and flavours. Denis Bourgin sells at markets, in producers' shops (Ferme de Vialard in Sarlat, Campagne Production in Périgueux), at organic and non-organic fairs. But you can of course stop by his place, where he also rents out two guest rooms.
