Alexandra Simonoff-Arpels produces two treasures: truffles and saffron. The climate and soil of the Périgord are well suited to their cultivation. Saffron is a rare product that requires a lot of manual pruning to detach the pistil before drying it in the oven. It can be purchased in filaments or transformed by the saffron farm into jams, jellies and delicacies. Truffle and saffron fields can be visited all year round by appointment, in French, English, German and Russian.
