A journey through the history of Villefranche. On the 1st floor of the listed town hall, this museum takes you on a fascinating journey through time, from the geological era to the present day. Discover how the bastide was founded in 1286, and immerse yourself in the daily life of yesteryear: tools, toys, clothes, earthenware and ancient writings tell their own stories. With its 7 themed rooms and a welcome video, the museum also devotes a space to medicine, practiced here since 1669. A richly storied place to explore.
