INSTITUT NATIONAL DES JEUNES SOURDS (INJS)
The vocation of the National Deaf Youth Institute (INJS) is the accompaniment of young and deep deaf people. Established in 1786 in Bordeaux, the INJS is now located in the municipality of Gradignan. It welcomes students from 0 to 20 years of age, in general or vocational training, and from kindergarten to bac. The approximately 160 young people evolve in an individual project developed with the young and their family. This interdisciplinary accompaniment takes into account educational, educational, social and psychological aspects. In addition to attending school, staff are also committed to accompanying young people in the organization and actions of their daily lives.
