It was in 1780 that this splendid castle saw the day, under the aegis of architect Étienne Laclotte, who was famous at his time, who made him build his summers. We are not surprised by the volumes and trappings a little cold of that time. Acquired by the Denis family in the 1940 s, he was recaptured in 1997 by their daughter and husband, Isabelle and Paulin Calvet. They put all their energy and know-how at the service of an end and elegant wine, perpetuating the vision of their predecessors: a traditional approach to wine-growing and good value for money. Here you will find the most kind of hospitality, so do not hesitate to make a few wine cafés at the gates of Bordeaux. Take advantage of this 20-hectare estate in the heart of Mérignac, to escape a little from the urban atmosphere and discover both an excellent believer and a very representative building of the beautiful mansions of the century of philosophers.
